Defender – DOB 12/01/1998

The Maltese international has experience playing in League Two, the Scottish Premier League, and also in the Championship, having represented the likes of Millwall, St Johnstone and Lincoln City.

The 26-year-old Dover born right-back will provide an elite level of experience and skillset to Neil Young’s team.

Manager Neil Young said: “James is a defender who has over 100 league games in the Football League and Scottish League, winning the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup.

He will bring much needed experience to us and I’m looking forward to working with him.”

On signing for Marine, James said: “I’m obviously happy to be here. It’s an opportunity that presents the best option for me going forward in my career.

“I know Marine have been on an upward trajectory, and I feel my experience in the professional game can help the younger players whilst also adding some quality as well.
