Marine FC are delighted to announce the signing of Bailey Marsden following his departure from King’s Lynn Town.
The 22-year-old is a two-footed, creative and hard-working midfield player, who played youth football for Crewe Alexandra before joining Mossley, and then moved to the National League North with King’s Lynn.
The midfielder is Bobby Grant’s third new signing of the summer following the acquisitions of midfielder Matty McDonald and the return of striker George Newell.
On joining Marine, Bailey said: “I’m buzzing to sign for such a big club. It’s a massive opportunity for me to show what I’m about, and it’s a club with great ambitions and also one I’ve had my eye on getting to for a long time.
“I’m fully on board with what Marine is all about, the work ethic and determination of the whole club, and can’t wait to get in with the gaffer and the lads and get started.”
Director of Football Neil Young said: “Bailey is someone we have been tracking for over 18 months and we were hopeful of signing him back in January but for different reasons it never happened at that time.
“He absolutely fits with how we work, play and I’m sure he will have a big future.
“Bailey can play as a deeper midfielder or in a more attacking midfield role, he works hard and has good quality on the ball.
“I am very happy we have finally been able to bring Bailey to the club.”
