27. Forward (DOB 14/03/2007)
Signed in August 2026 following his departure from Crewe Alexandra.
The 6 ft 2 in centre-forward arrives at the MTA to bolster our attacking options ahead of the new campaign. A hardworking and physical presence up front, Hodkin brings a fantastic youth goalscoring record and valuable senior experience to the Mariners.
Jordan progressed through the academy ranks at Crewe Alexandra, where he showcased his clinical finishing by scoring an impressive 38 goals for their U18s during the 2024/25 season. He subsequently signed his first professional contract with the Railwaymen last summer and gained valuable first-team minutes during the 2025/26 campaign, notably featuring in the EFL Cup against Stockport County and scoring in the EFL Trophy away at Burton Albion.
Alongside his EFL pedigree, Hodkin is no stranger to the demands of non-league football. He has previously enjoyed loan spells at Hanley Town, Leek Town, and most recently Nantwich Town earlier this year, meaning he arrives well-prepared for the physical nature of the men’s game.
On the new loan signing, Marine Manager Bobby Grant said: “Jordan’s a player who I identified last year to try and bring to the football club. For one reason or the other, it didn’t happen, but he’s a 19-year-old who has the potential to go and play as high as he chooses to play.
“Jordan’s a fantastic addition to the squad; someone who we can’t wait to work with, and someone who will score goals and the Marine fans will love and really take to. His work rate, his commitment for the team, is something that really impressed me. So, I can’t wait to see what he’s capable of producing in a Marine shirt this season.”
