LEAMINGTON 0-1 MARINE

Leamington 0-1 Marine; Enterprise NLN Saturday 8th November 2025

Max Ledson reports from Your Co-Op Community Stadium

Marine defeated a struggling Leamington side on Saturday to claim their fifth away win of the season.

The away side started the game strongly and put Leamington under pressure right from the off.

The Mariners early pressure led to a goal in the 10th minute after a corner found its way back out wide to Fin Sinclair-Smith, who whipped the ball back into the area and found Adam Anson who glanced the header past Rogan Ravenhill in the Leamington goal.

After taking the lead Marine were comfortable in defending the few chances created by the home side and went into the break with the lead after a dominant performance.

The second half continued in the same way with the Mariners comfortable in sitting back and hitting the home side on the counter with great success.

The Brakes were the masters of their own downfall in the second half with misplaced passes often ending their attacks before they’d even started.

A standout player in the second half was Bailey Marsden for Marine who had the best chance of the half in the 70th minute after a fast counter attack ended with him at the top of the Leamington penalty area, however, his shot was just wide of the post.

It was a comfortable performance in the end for the Mariners who will hope to turn their away form into home form with three games in a row at the MTA to follow.
