From the East & South: Leave the M62 at junction 6 and take the M57 to Switch Island. At the end of the M57 take the A5758 (signposted Southport & Formby), remain on this road through Switch Island and go straight across the traffic lights at the junction with the B5422, remaining on A5758. At roundabout, turn left on A565 (signposted Liverpool, Bootle & Crosby). Remain on this road through Thornton, straight on at 3 sets of traffic lights and at the roundabout remain on the A565, signposted Bootle & Liverpool. At the traffic lights in Crosby village, turn left onto the A565 (signposted Bootle & Liverpool). After ½ mile you will pass Merchant Taylors school on your right hand-side, turn right at the traffic lights onto College Road. The ground is half a mile on your left.
From the North: Leave the M6 at junction 26 and join the M58. Travel along the M58 to Switch Island at the end. Follow signs for A5758 (signposted Southport) and follow directions above.
Public Transport:
Bus – The Marine Travel Arena is close to a number of bus stops. The 63 (Bootle – Fazakerley) stops on College Road, the 53 (Liverpool to Crosby) stops on Coronation Road, the 47 (from Liverpool to Crossens) and X2 (Liverpool to Preston) have stops near to the ground on Liverpool Road (about 10-15 minute walk from Merchant Taylors school to the Marine Travel Arena).
Train – The nearest railway station to The Marine Travel Arena is Blundellsands & Crosby on the Northern Line (Hunts Cross to Southport) of Merseyrail. Trains run at 15 minute intervals from Liverpool City Centre and Southport. The station is a 10 minute walk from the ground.
Supporters arriving at Liverpool Lime Street need to transfer to the Northern Line at Liverpool Moorfields or Central Station.
Approximate train journey time from Liverpool City Centre stations to Blundellsands & Crosby is 20 minutes.
Facilities
Match Tickets
All matches at the MTA are ticket only with no cash turnstiles. Tickets are available online at a discounted rate or at the ticket office (located adjacent to the 1894 Bar & Bistro entrance) on the day of the game – card or cash accepted at the ticket office.

Please note for games where segregation applies all tickets must be purchased online in advance – the ticket office will not be open on the day of the game. An announcement will be made on the club website and social media confirming if a match is to be segregated.
1894 Bar & Bistro
The Bistro is open 7 days per week and is open to the public. Fully refurbished in summer 2021 there are large TVs showing Sky and BT Sport matches, with food served via an extensive menu.
There is an outside patio area which seats 75 persons.
The Carlsberg Suite
Open for matchdays and is accessible from inside the stadium. Also fully refurbished in summer 2021 there are two large screens and a 10’x5′ projector screen for live matches.

Matchday programmes priced at £3 are available to buy just inside the turnstiles.
Club Shop
Your first port of call for all your official Marine souvenirs including; Replica Shirts; Scarves; Caps; Hats; Pens; Pencils; Badges; Stickers plus much more. The Club Shop is situated behind the main stand. Accessible from outside the stadium until turnstiles open and then from inside the stadium.
Match Day Food & Drink
Match day catering is provided by Pullman Jack’s, an award winning Waterloo business who provide an extensive menu of pies, pasties, hot dogs etc and hot & cold drinks:

The Snack Kiosk is open from 2.15pm on Saturday games and 7pm on Midweek games. It is located behind the main stand at the dressing room end.
An additional Kiosk is located at the Crosender Rd end of the stadium.
In addition to the 1894 Bar & Bistro and Carlsberg Suite there are stadium bars located behind the RW Invest Main Stand and at the Crosender Road end serving a range of draught beers, including our two pint pot option.
Toilets
Toilets are located under the main stand (College Rd end) and far end (Crosender Road). Disabled toilet is located under the main stand (College Road end and is accessed via the boardroom entrance).
Wheelchair Area
There is a dedicated viewing area for wheelchairs and carers at the College Road end.
This section of the ground is available to both home and away supporters. Tickets are available to purchase in advance online at https://marinefc.ktckts.com/brand/match-tickets or at the ticket office, on the day of the game. Tickets are subject to availability, and it is strongly advised to purchase in advance.
A ‘tag’ may be required to access this match ticket for online bookings. If you have not booked online previously, for this option, please email sales@marinefc.com to get this tag added to your account.
Without a ticket for the wheelchair area of the ground, you will be unable to sit in this area.
It is preferable, but not essential if wheelchair users are accompanied by a carer.
Pushchairs / Prams
People with babies / young children must leave pushchairs / prams folded down in the designated area inside the stadium behind turnstile 3, to then sit in either the College Road (Main) or Crosender Rd stand with the child or children in their care.
Carer Policy
For individuals who require assistance to be able to attend matches at the Marine Travel Arena, we offer a complimentary carer match ticket or season ticket.
The carer’s match ticket or season ticket is therefore allocated under the disabled supporter’s name and is issued on the understanding that it must be used in conjunction with the disabled supporter’s match ticket or season ticket. Also, on the basis they undertake the related carer duties required while at the Marine Travel Arena.
A disabled supporter will require relevant documentation to qualify for an additional carer season ticket, which must be shown at the time of collection.
Carer match tickets are only available to collect from the ticket office, on the day of the game and must also show provide relevant documentation. This can be…
- A letter from the Department of Works and Pensions confirming your entitlement to the higher or middle rate mobility/care component of Disability Living Allowance.
- A letter from your GP confirming the nature of your disability

Parking
Match Day parking in the Club Car Park is reserved for Match Officials & Players only. There is plenty of parking available in the nearby streets. Please note that College Road has restricted parking for a maximum of two hours – this is patrolled by traffic wardens. For bigger games, the Club will announce details of additional parking facilities.

Ground Regulations
THE NATIONAL LEAGUE – GROUND REGULATIONS
Entry to the Ground is expressly subject to acceptance by the visitor of these Ground Regulations and the rules and regulations of FIFA, UEFA, The Football Association and The National League in respect of the relevant competition. The Ground Regulations incorporate the Club’s Customer Charter and entry to the Ground shall constitute acceptance of theses Ground Regulations.
Definitions
“Club” means Marine Association Football Club Limited. “Football Authority” means each of The National League, The Football Association, the Football Association of Wales, the Premier League, the EFL, FIFA, UEFA and any other relevant governing body of association football. “Illegal Substance” means any drug which is not legally obtainable, or which is legally obtainable but has not been legally obtained. The term includes prescribed drugs not being used for prescribed purposes. “Ground” means this football stadium and all locations owned, occupied or utilised by the Club. “Match” means any association football match (or any part or aspect of such a match) taking place at the Ground. “Material” means any audio, visual and/or audio-visual material and/or any information or data. “Supporter Code of Conduct” means any code of conduct to be adhered to by all those attending the Ground which can be found on – or accessed via – the Club’s website or can be provided upon written request to the Club (if applicable).
- Notwithstanding possession of any ticket the Club, any police officer or authorised steward may refuse entry to (or eject from) the Ground any person:
1. that fails (or in the Club’s reasonable opinion is likely to fail) to comply with these Ground Regulations and/or the Supporter Code of Conduct and/or any reasonable instruction issued by a police officer or authorised steward or officer of the Club; and/or
1.2. whose presence within the Ground is, or could (in the Club’s reasonable opinion), constitute a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to any other person. - On no account will admission be granted to a person:
1. who is the subject of a current Banning Order under the Football Spectators Act 1989 (as amended); or
2.2. who has been convicted of ticket touting offences under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 (as amended); or
2.3 who is under the age of 14 years unless accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 years and over. - The Club excludes to the maximum extent permitted by law any liability for loss, injury or damage to persons/property in or around the Ground.
- No guarantees can be given by the Club that a Match will take place at a particular time or on a particular date and the Club reserves the right to reschedule the Match without notice and without any liability whatsoever, save only to the extent provided pursuant to paragraph 5.
- In the event of the postponement or abandonment of the Match, refunds (if any) will be made in accordance with the Club’s Customer Charter. The Club will have no further liability whatsoever, including (but not limited to) any indirect or consequential loss or damage, such as (but not limited to) loss of enjoyment or travel costs.
- All persons seeking entrance to the Ground acknowledge the Club’s right to search any person entering the Ground and to refuse entry to or eject from the Ground any person refusing to submit to such a search.
- The following articles must not be brought within the Ground – knives, Illegal Substances, fireworks, smoke canisters, air-horns, flares, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, bottles, glass vessels, cans, poles and any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety. Any person in possession of such items will be refused entry to the Ground.
- Further, you may not bring into the Ground:
1. any sponsorship, promotional or marketing materials save in respect of official club merchandise and/or other football related clothing worn in good faith;
8.2. any flags or banners larger than those maximum dimensions permitted by the Club from time to time (or, in the absence of such stipulations, 2 metres x 1 metre) and/or of an offensive nature;
8.3. nor may you offer (either free or for sale by any person) any goods (including literature) of any nature, without the express written approval of the Club’s management. - The following activities are strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from the Ground:
1. using words that are, or behaving in a manner that is, threatening, abusive, insulting, foul, improper, offensive, violent, indecent, or provocative. This shall include, for the avoidance of doubt, engaging in chanting or other non-verbal actions or gestures concerning football or other tragedies (whether done at a Match, in-person or remotely, via any electronic communication, social media or otherwise). Any individual found to have engaged in such activity may be subject to a ban from all Matches and other association football matches (or any part or aspect of such a match);
9.2. attempting to enter the Ground or be inside the Ground whilst under the influence of an Illegal Substance; and/or
9.3. being in possession of an Illegal Substance when entering the Ground or inside the Ground. - Racial, homophobic or discriminatory abuse, chanting or harassment is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from the Ground.
- The following acts are offences under the Football (Offences) Act 1991 (as amended):
1. the throwing of any object within the Ground without lawful authority or excuse;
11.2. the chanting of anything of an indecent or racialist nature;
11.3. the entry onto the playing area or any adjacent area to which spectators are not generally admitted without lawful authority or excuse;
11.4. the entry or attempted entry to a premises without an eligible match ticket.
Conviction may result in a Banning Order being made.
- All persons entering the Ground may only occupy the seat allocated to them by their ticket (including those who have tickets to any Licensed Standing In Seated Areas (if any) pursuant to paragraph 15 below) and must not move from any one part of the Ground to another without the express permission or instruction of any steward, officer of the Club and/or any police officer.
- Nobody may stand in any seating area whilst play is in progress (except those persons who have tickets in any Licensed Standing In Seated Areas pursuant to paragraph 15 below). Persistent standing in seated areas other than Licensed Standing In Seated Areas whilst play is in progress is strictly forbidden and may result in ejection from the Ground.
- The obstruction of gangways, access ways, exits and entrances, stairways and like places is strictly forbidden. Nobody entering the Ground shall be permitted to climb any structures within the Ground.
- Where the Club operates licensed standing in seated accommodation areas at the Ground as part of the UK Government’s scheme on safe standing in conjunction with the Sports Grounds Safety Authority (the “Licensed Standing In Seated Areas”):
- Only ticketholders who have tickets to the Licensed Standing In Seated Areas are permitted to access them.
- Ticket holders must occupy the space in front of their allocated seat only and must not move elsewhere.
- Spectators should expect that others will be standing while play is in progress.
- Sitting or standing on rails or seats is prohibited.
- Ticketholders must behave respectfully and remain in their designated space.
- Failure to comply may lead to ejection and/or bans, and may jeopardise the Ground’s right to operate Licensed Standing In Seated Areas.
- National League stadia are smoke-free and smoking or the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted inside the Ground.
- Mobile telephones and other devices are permitted within the Ground PROVIDED THAT:
(i) they are used for personal and private use only; and
(ii) no Material captured may be published or otherwise made available to third parties including via social media. - Under the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985 (as amended), the following are offences for which arrest and conviction could result in a Banning Order:
1. attempting to enter the Ground or being inside the Ground whilst drunk; and/or
18.2. being in possession of intoxicating liquor, or a container which could cause damage or injury, when entering or in a viewing area of the Ground. - Any individual who has entered an area of the Ground designated for use of another group of supporters may be ejected for safety or other reasons.
- Save as set out in paragraph 17 above, no person may capture, record, transmit or otherwise communicate any Material in relation to the Match without appropriate licence or Club approval.
- The copyright, database rights and any other intellectual property rights in and to all Material that you produce at the Ground in relation to the Match, any players or other persons present in the Ground and/or the Ground (whether produced in breach of paragraph 20 above, or pursuant to paragraph 17 above, or otherwise) is hereby assigned to the Club and The National League. You further agree to promptly execute all instruments and do all things necessary to vest such rights to the Club and The National League.
- No goods (including literature) of any nature may be offered either free or for sale by any person within the Ground without the express written permission of the Club.
- Tickets are not transferable and may not be offered for sale without the prior written permission of the Club or otherwise in accordance with ticket terms and conditions. Breach may result in confiscation, refusal of admission, or ejection. Tickets remain the property of the Club.
- CCTV cameras are in use around and in the Ground. Body worn video cameras may also be used to record prohibited behaviours. The Club may use or pass recordings to the police, The National League, or other clubs.
- All persons must comply with steward, officer, and/or police instructions at all times (including health and safety requirements). Failure may lead to ejection.
- By entering the Ground, all persons acknowledge that photographic images and/or recordings may be taken of them and used in coverage of the game and/or for promotional, editorial or marketing purposes by the Club, The National League or others (including commercial partners and accredited media). Entry constitutes consent.
- Recordings may also be used to identify individuals where permitted by data protection law for the purposes of preventing or detecting crime or breaches of these Ground Regulations.
- All ticket holders agree that Matches are public events and that their actions inside and around the Ground have no expectation of privacy. Parents/guardians accompanying under-18s are deemed to provide consent on their behalf.
- Refused entry or ejection may lead to further action by the Club including, but not limited to, withdrawal of season tickets, membership and other benefits without reimbursement.

MARINE TRAVEL ARENA – GROUND SPECIFIC REGULATIONS
In addition to the above Ground Regulations the following regulations are specific to the Marine Travel Arena:
You may not bring in to the Ground:
- Dogs (other than Registered Guide Dogs)
- Musical instruments (drums, horns, bugles etc) – due to Sefton Council restrictions on nuisance to neighbouring properties.
Subject to paragraph 18 above alcohol is permitted in the Ground purchased from the Carlsberg Suite or 1894 Bar only in plastic containers. Persons are not permitted to bring alcohol purchased elsewhere or in other containers (bottles, cans etc) into the Ground.
After entering the Ground readmittance is not permitted – persons who may wish to leave prior to the end of a Match should inform the steward on the exit gate.
U14 Policy
U14 Policy
Children aged 13 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over who has purchased a membership/season ticket / match ticket for themselves and the child.
At the point of purchase of either a membership/season ticket or match ticket, you must be 14 years old or over. Any tickets for under 14’s must be purchased by an adult over 18 years of age.
Anyone under 14 years of age must be sat / stood with their responsible adult or at least in the same part of the ground (i.e. College Road / Main Stand, Crosender Stand or Jubilee Stand), where they can have a clear view of the young person they are responsible for.
If the child / young person becomes separated from their responsible adult, they should report to a ground steward who will assist.
In the event of any unacceptable behaviour from anyone under the age of 14 who is not under the direct supervision of a responsible adult, the child / young person involved will be escorted to a safe place and the guardian will be approached if known where they are in the ground or will be requested to collect the child via tannoy call, appropriate measures will then be taken depending on the incident at hand.
If anyone under the age of 14 is found to be in the ground unaccompanied, every effort will be made to contact a parent / guardian or other family member via telephone to come and collect them.
If we are unable to contact a suitable adult, then police will be informed and take responsibility for the individual involved.
Coach Travel Policy
Marine FC Away Coach Travel Policy

Executive Summary
This policy provides a governance framework for official away coach travel. It defines the responsibilities of the Club, Board, coach operator, driver, volunteer stewards and supporters, promoting safe, enjoyable and well-managed travel while protecting volunteers from being expected to undertake duties outside their role.
Policy Statement
Marine FC is committed to providing safe, inclusive and well-organised away travel. Everyone travelling on an official coach shares responsibility for maintaining safety, respect and the reputation of the Club.
Scope
Applies to all official away coach travel organised by Marine FC.
Roles and Responsibilities
Board: approve and review policy.
Club Officials: organise travel, brief volunteers, support incident management.
Coach Operator & Driver: responsible for vehicle safety and operational decisions.
Volunteer Stewards: observe, communicate, support and report.
Supporters: comply with the Code of Conduct.
Volunteer Steward Policy
Responsibilities include assisting boarding, communicating travel information, promoting respectful behaviour, reporting concerns and liaising with the driver. Volunteers must not physically intervene, confiscate items, search belongings, remove passengers or place themselves at risk.
Supporter Code of Conduct
Treat everyone with respect; follow reasonable instructions; do not distract the driver; comply with alcohol and safety rules; avoid abusive, discriminatory, violent or criminal behaviour. Breaches may lead to sanctions or police involvement.
Alcohol Policy
Where prohibited by club policy, competition rules or coach operator conditions, alcohol must not be brought onto or consumed on the coach. Intoxicated behaviour that affects safety or others will not be tolerated.
Away Coach Incident Procedure
Observe–Assess–Report–Support. Minor incidents: remind and monitor. Serious incidents: do not intervene physically; inform the driver; notify the club; record facts. Emergencies: call 999 if required and safe.
Incident Reporting
Complete an incident report promptly with factual information, times, locations, witnesses and actions taken. Avoid speculation.
Post-Incident Review
The Club will review incidents objectively, considering actions of supporters, volunteers, officials, driver and coach operator. Lessons learned will be shared where appropriate.
Volunteer Protection
Volunteers are not security staff or enforcement officers. No volunteer will be held solely responsible for another person’s misconduct where they acted reasonably, followed procedures, reported concerns and remained within the scope of their role.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Everyone will be treated with dignity, fairness and respect. Discrimination, harassment or victimisation will not be tolerated.
Review and Governance
This policy will be reviewed annually or following significant incidents, legislative change or operational learning.
