Matty is a left back / left midfielder who joined last season on dual registration from National North Buxton FC, having previously played for Chester and Curzon Ashton in the National North, followed by a spell at Connah’s Quay Nomads before his move to the Bucks.

Made his debut in the Liverpool Senior Cup win over Widnes in January 2024, going on to score a memorable late winner in the 2-1 home win over Worksop Town, one of 18 appearances and 3 goals during the 23/24 campaign.
