Vanarama National League North Marine FC are delighted to confirm the signing of young goalkeeper Andrew Wogan on loan from League One side Stockport County until the end of the 2024/25 season.
The 19-year-old has represented the Republic of Ireland at under-19 and under-21 level, and has made 43 senior appearances to date, mostly in the Irish Premier Division.
Andrew joined Stockport’s Emerging Talent Programme last year after establishing himself as Drogheda United’s number one goalkeeper at the age of just 17, winning the Irish side’s Young Played of the Year award for 2023.
Andrew will be eligible for tonight’s game against Farsley Celtic at Buxton’s Tarmac Silverlands Stadium.
Manager Neil Young said: “Andy is very well thought of at Stockport and for such a young age he has a lot of senior games under his belt, and I am looking forward to working with him.”
