Fin Sinclair-Smith signs new Marine contract

Vanarama National League North Marine FC are delighted to confirm that Fin Sinclair-Smith has signed a new contract to extend his stay at the club.

The winger has provided a constant outlet from wide positions for the Mariners in recent seasons, scoring 27 goals in the 2023/24 season, and added a further ten goals and four assists in the National League North last season, finishing as the club’s top scorer.

The 25-year-old now extends his long-standing relationship with the club, having initially been with the Mariners as a youngster in the 2018/19 campaign.

On signing his new deal, Fin said: “It was a no-brainer to sign a new deal. I’m really happy at Marine and I love the club and fans!

“Next season, I’m hoping we can go for it and reach the play-offs and build on my goals. Of course I’ll be doing my best to help the team as much as I can. You know what to expect from me.”

Director of Football Neil Young added: “I’m delighted that we have been able to keep Fin at the club.

“To be fair, he made it clear from the outset that he wanted to stay at the club, so it was pretty straightforward to get done.

“It’s important at this level that we were possible to have continuity to keep on improving and Fin is the start of that process.

“He improved each week as the season progressed and again finished as the club’s top scorer.

“I believe he will improve even more next season now he has a year of National League football under his belt.”
