Marine FC are delighted to confirm the signing of forward Chanka Zimba.
Zimba, 22, operates centrally in the forward positions and after coming through the academy at Blackburn Rovers, joined Cardiff City where he gained experience with Northampton and Newport County, so has League Two and National League experience.
Chanka’s signing strengthens Neil Young’s options in the forward areas, providing extra firepower up front, and is eligible for tomorrow’s game at Stockton Town.
On joining Marine, Chanka said: “I’m really excited. It’s a new challenge for myself. I’m happy to be here and I just can’t wait to get going.”
Manager Neil Young said: “Chanka has at 22 already played over 50 games at National League and EFL level.
“He is strong and quick and I’m sure he will come in and compliment the players we already have within the squad.”
