Marine FC are delighted to confirm the signing of striker George Newell following his departure from Bala Town.
The forward returns to Marine for a third spell after spending time on loan at the MTA during the 2019/20 and 2021/22 seasons.
George has scored nine goals in 13 appearances across those two spells with his so far, and made his debut almost five years ago in November 2019.
The striker has scored 39 goals in just less than 100 appearances during his time with Bala, across three seasons.
On returning to the club, George said: “I’m really excited to join a great club that I know a lot about and have had great times at before.
“I’ve always kept a close eye on how they are doing and it was great to see them stay up last year. Hopefully I can help us push on further now and can’t wait to get started next month.”

Director of Football, Neil Young said: “George is someone we have tried to bring to the club permanently a number of times and we are happy we have now been able to do that.
“He has a great work ethic, good experience and his goal record when he was last with us and subsequently speaks for itself. I think he will be a great addition.”
