Marine FC are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Matty McDonald following his departure from Warrington Town.
The 22-year-old played his youth football with Everton and Crewe Alexandra before moving to Warrington Town.
The creative midfielder made 42 appearances in the National League North last season for the Yellows.
On signing for Marine, Matty said: “I’m made up to be here. As soon as Bobby got in touch about being interested, I thought, this is the place I want to go, it’s a no-brainer for us, so I’m made up it’s over the line.
Manager Bobby Grant said: “We’re delighted to bring Matty to the football club.
“He’s a top, top player, someone who we’ve had an eye on for a while.
“He’ll excite the fans, the way he conducts himself on and off the pitch is something we want to bring to the club.
“He has high standards, and I’m really looking forward to working with him.
“The fans should be excited about this one because he represents them as well. We’re over the moon to get this done.”
