Marine are pleased to announce the signing, on loan until January 2023, of Tranmere Rovers striker Jake Burton.
Jake, 20, has featured for the Mariners in the recent friendlies against Bootle and Runcorn Linnets, scoring in both 5-0 victories.
Manager Neil Young commented;
“Jake is someone we liked last season before he went to Stalybridge on loan. We have been trying for a number of weeks to bring Jake to the club and we are very grateful that Tranmere have now allowed him to come.
He is quick, tenacious and scores goals, and is exactly what we need within the squad.”
