Marine FC can confirm that winger Liam Paton has signed a new contract to remain at the Club for the 2024/25 season.
The 18-year-old scored in our 2-0 pre-season victory at Vauxhall Motors earlier today.
Paton, who has developed in our youth set-up in recent years, spent last season on loan at AFC Liverpool where he impressed with his performances during his temporary spell.
Manager Neil Young said: “Liam deserves another contract. He has and is developing really well and his performances whilst out on loan last season were very good.”
On signing his new contract, Liam said: “I’m buzzing to have signed another year with the club and I’m really happy that I’m surrounded by such an amazing management team who will help me progress further.”

Watched the euro final in there tonight, which was great and the bar staff were attentive.
At the end of the game they played music so loud you could not talk, we asked the staff to turn it down so we could finish our drinks and talk without shouting.
This request was meet with derision and contempt for there customers, we had bought 5 rounds of beers and had 8 pints each, not drunk not abusive but we could not finish our conversations because the girl who controlled the system on her phone didn’t give two hoots for the customers!
I have been a loyal and regular customer but will not go back there and neither will 10 people who where there tonight and I’ll tell at least ten and so will they!
Remember, bars need customers, be respectful and nice and they will come back!
Shameful behaviour!
Nice bar run by disrespectful people!
Get it sorted Marine!!
