Winger becomes Neil Young’s latest summer recruit…
Marine AFC are delighted to announce the signing of winger Manasse Mampala.
The Congolese born forward, 23, joined Everton’s Academy at 15, turning professional for the Toffees in July 2018 and earning another year’s deal the following season.
The forward enjoyed a standout season for Paul Tait’s Under-18 Blues side in 2017-18, contributing 11 goals and chipping in with six assists in 18 appearances in the U18 Premier League.
Manasse consistently featured in Everton’s Under-23 squad in 2018-19, as David Unsworth’s young Blues romped to success in league and cup.
He moved to Queen’s Park Rangers in October 2019, before moving to Carlisle United in summer 2021.
Manasse had a loan spell at Weymouth in 2022 before signing for Hyde United last season, netting 9 times in 29 full appearances including two against the Mariners in April.
He played as trialist #11 in Friday’s home friendly against Bootle and was quickly snapped up by Manager Neil Young.
