MARINE ANNOUNCE ARRANGEMENTS FOR VISIT OF WREXHAM IN FINAL EMIRATES FA CUP QUALIFIER

Match declared all ticket with capacity set at 2,150

Pitching In Northern Premier League Marine announces the arrangements for the 4th Qualifying round Emirates FA Cup tie against National League Wrexham to be played on Saturday 16 October with a 3pm kick off.

After consultation with all parties the match is all-ticket with a capacity set at 2,150 with Wrexham being allocated 350 tickets in accordance with FA rules.

Segregation of fans has also been agreed with Wrexham fans entering the ground via gates 3 & 4 and Marine fans entering though gates 1 & 2 on College Road and gates 5 & 6 adjacent to the club entrance.

Turnstiles will open at 1:30pm at which time the Arriva Suite and 1894 bar can be accessed for refreshments and snacks.

Adult tickets for the game cost £10.00 whilst concessions for retired citizens (aged 65 and over) and children (up to 16 years of age) cost £6.00.

Special arrangements have been made for the game which sees the highest attendance at Marine for nearly thirty years. Liverpool FC have agreed to provide additional crowd stewards to assist on the day whilst the car park is to be closed as a condition of the club’s safety certificate with Sefton Council.

Alternative car park arrangements for players and officials have been made at sites near to the Marine Travel Arena and in accordance with sports stadium legislation the bars will be closed from 2:30pm for this FA Cup game and therefore no alcohol will be allowed within the stadium on the day.

Merseyside Police and Sefton Council have been consulted with regards to the match arrangements for this high-profile game. The match is all ticket with each club making the appropriate arrangements and announcements shortly for the sale, in advance of the game, of their ticket allocations.

The Mariners have progressed amazingly through to this final qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup beating Workington, Dunston, Warrington Town and Atherton Collieries in Tuesday’s epic replay in front of an ecstatic 1,099 fans winning with a 120th minute penalty.
