Enterprise National League North Marine FC are delighted to announce the signing of Congolese forward Offrande Zanzala from Chester.
The striker began his career at Derby County and has played for a host of EFL clubs including Accrington Stanley, Crewe Alexandra, and Barrow.
The 29-year-old has over 200 senior appearances under his belt, mostly across Leagues One and Two, and played with manager Bobby Grant along the way.
On signing Offrande, Bobby said: “Zanzala is a player I have played with and know personally, he brings experience and is a top forward so we are delighted to bring him into the football club and more importantly he can’t wait to join Marine.”
Offrande said: “I am delighted to have signed for Marine Football Club, I can’t wait to play for the club, score goals and play in front of the fans, and hopefully help the team get promoted.
“Speaking to the gaffer, it was an easy conversation to come to sign as I have played with him at previous clubs, and sharing the dressing room with him then has helped massively with coming to play under a manager that I am comfortable with and have that relationship already, where on the pitch he knows what I am like and how I play to help the team, but most importantly get the best out of me.
“Off the pitch, it’s vital as he needs to know that who he is bringing will be good for the changing room so that was all positive.
“Adding to that, the players I have played with also in Declan Drysdale and Charlie Jolley, also Ash Hunter that I know which made the move a lot more easier to play for this club which has big ambitions and goals, which I want to be apart of and making history.
“I want to get promoted and score many goals, making a mark and showcasing my talent and my attributes as a player for the world to see. See you all on Boxing Day.”
