Marine entertain Atherton Collieries at the Marine Travel Arena this evening (7:45pm) in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division.
The Mariners will be seeking their second home league win of the campaign against a Colls side currently sitting two places above them in the NPL Premier table. Atherton are unbeaten in their last four league games and held leaders South Shields to a goalless draw in the North East on Saturday.
The clubs contested a thrilling Emirates FA Cup tie last season in the 3rd Qualifying Round, the Mariners winning through 3-2 at the MTA in a replay following a goalless draw at the Skuna Stadium.
Sean Smith is a doubt for tonight’s game having limped off at Ashton on Saturday, whilst Josh-Solomon Davies remains a couple of weeks away from a return to action and Mo Touray is due to have a scan on his ankle this week.

Marine season tickets and membership cards must be presented for scanning at the turnstiles, whilst holders of NHS or Student season tickets should also present their ID badges.
