MARINE V GAINSBOROUGH TRINITY – PREVIEW

Marine entertain Gainsborough Trinity at the Marine Travel Arena this evening (7:45pm) in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division.

The Mariners will be seeking to extend their nine-game unbeaten run in all competitions against a Trinity side making the unenviable midweek trek from Lincolnshire. The “Holy Blues” are, however, undefeated away from home in the NPL Premier this season, and boast two of the division’s leading scorers in Donaldson and Waldock.

The Mariners enjoy an excellent home record in NPL football against Gainsborough, tasting defeat just twice in 26 previous contests in Crosby, so something may have to give this evening!

Mo Touray may play a part this evening on his return from injury, however leading scorer Hayden Campbell and right-back Josh-Solomon Davies are doubtful for the game, both having limped off in the second-half at Basford on Saturday.

Tickets for this evening’s game are still available for all supporters to purchase up until kick-off via;

Marine season tickets and membership cards must be presented for scanning at the turnstiles, whilst holders of NHS or Student season tickets should also present their ID badges.

Gates open at 6:45pm, with the 1894 Bar & Bistro and Arriva Suite open for refreshments.

We look forward to seeing you all at the MTA this evening!
