MARINE V LANCASTER CITY – PREVIEW

Marine entertain Lancaster City at the Marine Travel Arena this evening (7:45pm) in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division.

The Mariners play their first competitive fixture on the new 3G surface at the MTA, having recorded an excellent 3-0 win at Guiseley on Saturday on their return to the NPL Premier.

For their part the “Dolly Blues”, who finished in 11th place last season, drew 1-1 at home to Nantwich Town on the opening day.

Marine manager Neil Young is still likely to be without several players for tonight’s game. In addition to Andy Hollins and Anthony MIley who will both miss the first couple of months through injury, Alex Doyle, Jack Dunn, and Mo Touray all remain doubtful. On the plus side, new loan signing Djavan “DJ” Pedro joins the squad.

Tickets for this evening’s game are still available for all supporters to purchase up until kick-off via;

Marine season tickets and membership cards must be presented for scanning at the turnstiles, whilst holders of NHS or Student season tickets should also present their ID badges.

Gates open at 6:45pm, with the 1894 Bar & Bistro and Arriva Suite open for refreshments.

We look forward to seeing you all this evening for our first home league game of the season!
