MARINE V PRESCOT CABLES – PREVIEW

Marine entertain Prescot Cables this afternoon (3pm) at the Marine Travel Arena in their first home league game of the season.

The Mariners slipped to their first defeat of the campaign at Workington on Saturday, the game being marred by a serious leg injury suffered by Anthony Miley which will see the centre-back out of the game for an extended period of time.

Defender Dean Winnard is in contention to make his debut, whilst manager Neil Young is also likely to have Ben Roberts and Mark Howarth available for today’s game.

Cables secured their first point of the season on Saturday, holding Warrington Rylands to a 3-3 draw at Hope Street, and will be looking for all three points in today’s “M57 derby”.

Tickets for today’s game are still available via the following link;

Fans entering the stadium must provide their e-ticket or printed ticket which will be scanned on entry at gates 1 or 2 on College Road, or at gates 5 and 6 adjacent to the club entrance which will also be open to accommodate the extra number of spectators that are expected to attend the game.

All gates will open at 1:45pm at which time the Arriva Suite and 1894 bar can be accessed for refreshments and snacks.

Season tickets and Membership cards can be used for the first time this season and must be presented for scanning at the turnstiles whilst holders of NHS or Student season tickets should also present their ID badges.

We look forward to seeing you all this afternoon!
