MARINE V WORKINGTON – PREVIEW

Mariners entertain Reds in crucial clash…

Marine face Workington at the Marine Travel Arena this afternoon (3pm) in the Pitching In Northern Premier League West.

The Mariners confirmed their place in the play-offs with last Saturday’s draw at Colne, whilst Workington seek to take advantage of their game in hand as they bid to overhaul leaders Warrington Rylands as the title race heads into the final week.

The sides met three times within eight days back in August, the Mariners prevailing in a pulsating Emirates FA Cup replay after extra-time at the MTA, before the Reds earned all three points in a narrow league victory at Borough Park.

Today’s game is all-ticket, with tickets to Marine supporters still available to purchase via;

Please note, there will be no tickets on sale at the MTA today.

Turnstiles open at 1:30pm, with Marine fans to enter the MTA via gates 1&2 on College Road and gates 5&6 adjacent to the clubrooms, whilst Workington fans will enter through gates 3&4 via the car park.

Marine season tickets and membership cards must be presented for scanning at turnstiles 1, 2, 5 & 6 whilst holders of NHS or Student season tickets should also present their ID badges.

The Arriva Suite will be open from 1:30pm and the 1894 bar will be open from midday for refreshments and snacks. Fans will not be allowed to leave the stadium until the exit gates are opened by safety stewards towards the end of the game. Marine supporters entering zones via turnstiles 1&2 will not be allowed to transfer to the other zones accessed by turnstiles 5&6, and vice versa.

We look forward to seeing you all this afternoon for the big match!
