Marine FC are delighted to confirm the signing of defender Nathan Koehler following his departure from Prescot Cables.
The American youngster is a graduate from The Steven Gerrard Academy and has previously represented Buckley and Burscough as well as Cables.
The 21-year-old further strengthens Neil Young’s defensive options as he prepares to guide the Mariners into our first-ever National League North campaign.
Manager Neil Young said: “Nathan is another young player who had a fantastic season last year as part of the Prescot promotion side.
“He is a strong left-footed centre back who impressed against us, and in the games that we watched of Prescot.”
On signing for Marine, Nathan said: “I feel privileged to be signing for Marine, being trusted with a move up a league after a promotion.
“I knew about Marine before even moving to England, with the famous FA Cup run making the news over in the US.
“I want to push myself to play as high as possible, and at Marine I think I can develop my game even more.”
