The Vanarama National League North Marine are delighted to confirm that midfielder Owen Robinson has signed a new contract to remain with the Club for the 2024/25 season.
Robinson has been a key part of Neil Young’s promotion-winning side, and has now committed his future to the club in our first season in the National League North.
Owen said: “I am made up to have signed a new contract. Last year was a brilliant year, especially winning the Liverpool Senior Cup and achieving promotion by getting into the National League North.
“It feels brilliant to be a part of creating history with this club. The gaffer and coaching staff have been brilliant in helping me develop as a player and the fans are quality.
“I also believe this squad is more than capable of holding their own in the National League North and look forward to the challenge.”
Manager Neil Young said: “I think it’s very important to try and keep as many of last year’s squad together as possible. Their achievements were exceptional as was their work ethic and commitment. Owen Robinson epitomised everything good about last season.”
“He was disappointed initially not to be in the squad. He got his head down and went out on loan and done well, came back and never looked back from there.
“His energy, enthusiasm and willingness to be the best he can be, is infectious and he has become a key member of the squad both on the pitch and in the dressing room.”
