Goalkeeper to leave the club…
Enterprise National League North Marine AFC confirm that goalkeeper / coach Richie will be leaving the club after today’s game due to additional work commitments.
Director of Football Neil Young said:
“Richie has been an integral part of what’s been achieved at the club over his time here.
Not everyone sees the other roles staff play behind the scenes – a number of the goalkeepers that we have been able to bring to the club over the last couple of years have been through Richie’s due diligence and contacts.
I would personally like to thank Richie for his support and friendship over his time at Marine and more importantly wish him and his family well.
I’m sure we will all miss his singing!
