Ahead of the 2026/27 season, Marine Football Club asks all supporters to take a moment to familiarise themselves with the updated Ground Regulations applicable across all National League venues, as well as the stadium-specific guidelines for the Marine Travel Arena (MTA).
To ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable matchday experience for everyone, please note the key updates and ground rules below:
Smoke-Free Stadium
- In line with National League regulations, the Marine Travel Arena is now a strictly smoke-free stadium.
- Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes (vapes) are prohibited everywhere inside the ground.
Updated Under-14s Policy
- Admission & Supervision: Anyone attending the MTA must be at least 14 years old to enter unaccompanied. All children aged 13 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over (previously, this policy applied to under-16s).
- Ticket Purchases: Supporters must be aged 14 or over to purchase match tickets or memberships directly. Any tickets for children under 14 must be purchased by an adult aged 18 or over.
- Matchday Positioning: Young people under 14 must sit or stand with their accompanying adult or remain in the same section of the ground (e.g., College Road / Main Stand, Crosender Stand, or Jubilee Stand) to ensure direct line-of-sight supervision.
- Separation & Welfare: If a child becomes separated from their adult, they should report directly to a matchday steward. Unaccompanied under-14s will be taken to a safe place whilst club staff contact a parent or guardian.
MTA Specific Ground Rules
- Alcohol Policy: Only alcohol purchased on-site from the Carlsberg Suite or 1894 Bar (served in plastic containers) is permitted within the ground. No outside alcohol, bottles, or cans may be brought into the stadium.
- No Dogs: Dogs are not permitted inside the stadium, with the exception of registered guide dogs.
- No Musical Instruments: Due to Sefton Council restrictions regarding neighbouring residential properties, musical instruments (including drums, horns, and bugles) are strictly prohibited.
- No Re-admittance: Once you have entered the ground, re-entry is not permitted. Supporters needing to leave early should inform the steward at the exit gate.
