Striker joins on loan deal from Fleetwood Town…
Marine AFC are pleased to announce the loan signing, until 7th November, of Fleetwood Town striker Will Russ.
Will, 20, joined Fleetwood from Leicester City in July 2021 and has had loan spells at South Shields, FC United of Manchester and most recently Hyde United.
Manager Neil Young said:
‘Will is a player that we tried to bring to the club last season but unfortunately it couldn’t be done at the time.
I asked about him again at the start of our recruitment process and I’m really happy now that Fleetwood Town and in particular Jack Higgins have allowed Will to join us and continue his development at Marine.
He is a big, quick strong lad who has scored goals at this level and will only continue to improve.”
