Marine officials continue to be impressed by the increase in attendances at the MTA this season which sees an average of 998 in the 14 games in all competitions up until Christmas increase to an average of 1,290 in the 7 games since, including the 1,635 against Warrington Rylands in the New Year fixture and 1,466 who attended the recent win against Everton in the Liverpool County FA Senior Cup.
Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:
“It has been a good week for Marine with the 4-1 cup win over Everton last Tuesday and the 1-0 win at Atherton Collieries on Saturday. Guiseley have improved their league position considerably since the early stages of the season and I have no doubt that it will be another tough encounter as we hopefully push on towards the play-off places.”
Paul Leary added:
“I look forward to welcoming the players, staff, officials, and supporters of Guiseley to the Marine Travel Arena for another important game for both clubs.”
