Pitching In Northern Premier League Marine announces the arrangements for the Emirates FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round game against NPL Premier Division Warrington Town, to be played on Saturday 18th September with a 3pm kick off.

Adult tickets cost £10.00 whilst concessionary tickets for retired citizens (aged 65 and over) and children (up to 16 years of age) cost £6.00, and can be purchased using the following link:
Marine members and season ticket holders will have priority access to purchase their online ticket from 9am on Thursday 9th September by inputting their membership card/season ticket MRE number into the Kaizen purchasing system. Tickets will go on general sale from 9am on Friday 10th September.
Fans entering the stadium must provide their e-ticket or printed ticket which will be scanned on entry at gates 1 and 2 on College Road or at gates 5 and 6 adjacent to the club entrance. All gates will open at 1:45pm at which time the Arriva Suite and 1894 bar can be accessed for refreshments and snacks.
The Mariners beat Workington 2-1 in a thrilling Preliminary Round replay at the Marine Travel Arena, and last Saturday progressed through to the next stage with a 2-1 victory at Dunston, scoring the winner in the 90th minute.
Club officials have been delighted with the increase in attendances at the three home games so far with an average of almost 1,000. The new ticket scanning technology installed for this season has been a huge success and has helped staff deal with the increased numbers entering the stadium providing quicker entry through the turnstiles. It is expected that the attendance against Warrington Town will be the highest at College Road since the Salford City FA Cup game three years ago.
Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:
“We anticipate our biggest attendance of the season for the visit of Warrington Town for this FA Cup tie that has so much local interest. It is a vital game for both clubs who look to progress to the latter stages of the qualifying rounds of the competition. I cannot stress enough the need for fans to purchase their tickets online in advance of the game and this enables them to quickly enter the stadium through the turnstiles.
Marine fans with membership cards and season tickets have a 24-hour priority access to purchase their match ticket ahead of them going on general sale at 9am this coming Friday. Members and season ticket holders can therefore purchase their ticket for the game from 9am Thursday 9th September.”
Paul Leary added:
“I look forward to welcoming the players, staff, officials and supporters of Warrington Town to the Marine Travel Arena for this FA Cup fixture in what will be a really tough game as we bid to progress further in the competition.”
