MARINE CONTINUE TO PAY TRIBUTE TO NHS WORKERS WITH FREE SEASON TICKETS

Scheme repeated for second season.

Pitching In Northern Premier League Marine is pleased to announce that they are reopening applications for free NHS season tickets for the forthcoming season repeating the offer successfully launched last summer.

NHS workers who received a complimentary season ticket last season will receive an email from the club requesting confirmation that they remain employed by the NHS and wish to have a ticket for the new season. Following receipt of these confirmations the season tickets will be processed by the club for collection by arrangement.

NHS workers who want to register for a complimentary season ticket for the first time should confirm their interest by emailing fans@marinefc.com by 31st July 2021 from their NHS email address. Applications will be processed on a first come first served basis.

After national success last season and a magnificent run in the FA Cup, the club has invested significantly in the clubroom facilities providing a refurbished function room & match bar and the opening of the 1894 bar & bistro, both rooms with Sky Sports. The Mariners’ season kicks-off with a home game against Newcastle Town on Saturday 14th August at The Marine Travel Arena.

Fan engagement officer Gron Brookes said:

“Our community has relied on the dedication and expertise of our healthcare workers over the last 18 months and the repeat of this scheme for NHS workers is a small gesture of our gratitude. We were delighted with the uptake last year and have decided to continue with the offer for the new season. It promises to be an exciting season ahead for the Mariners and with a 120% increase in memberships and season tickets already we expect a significant increase in attendances. Additional NHS workers attending games will add further to the numbers likely to attend the Marine Travel Arena this coming season.”
