Enterprise National League North Marine FC are delighted to announce the signing of exciting young winger AJ Warburton on a three-month loan from FC Halifax Town.
The 20-year-old joined the Shaymen earlier this summer after an impressive season with Avro last term, where he scored 11 goals.
AJ previously represented Droylsden as a right back, and has flourished since moving into a more advanced role.
On signing for Marine, AJ said: “I’m buzzing. Halifax mentioned that Marine was an option and I could come here on loan, and when they mentioned it I was buzzing.
“I thought, it’s a good run club, and not just that, they’re an established club in the National League North, so I thought it’d be a good opportunity to step up and try myself at a higher level.”
Manager Bobby Grant said: “We are delighted to bring AJ to the football club, a young player with so much quality. We can’t wait to get to work with him.”
