Enterprise National League North Marine are delighted to announce the signing of experienced EFL striker Ash Hunter.
The 29-year-old joins the Mariners after leaving Accrington Stanley this summer having made over 300 appearances across Leagues One and Two, also representing Salford City, Morecambe and MK Dons.
Hunter is perhaps best known for his five years with Fleetwood Town, where he played with his new manager Bobby Grant for four of those years.
The striker is a significant addition to the Mariners’ squad ahead of the beginning of the 2025/26 season at South Shields this Saturday.
On signing for Marine, Ash said: “I’m happy to be here. I spoke to Bob a few times over the summer, he told me where the club wants to go, and how he wants to play, and it suited the way that I want to play as well.
“I want to enjoy my football again. I played my best football when I was with Bob at Fleetwood, so hopefully he can help me get back to that.”
