MARINE V BAMBER BRIDGE – PREVIEW

Marine entertain Bamber Bridge at the Marine Travel Arena this afternoon (3pm) in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Today’s game sees the Mariners looking to end their run of four games without a win, having slipped to 8th place in the NPL Premier table. Manager Neil Young has recently lost Freddie Price to a season-ending injury and leading scorer Hayden Campbell who has moved to Curzon Ashton. However, he has completed the loan signings of Lewis Earl and Craig Curran, both of whom are in contention to make their debuts this afternoon.

“Brig” occupy the final play-off position of 5th heading into today’s encounter having narrowly missed out on that spot last season. The reverse fixture at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium back in early-September ended all-square in the proverbial “game of two halves”, and another hard-fought contest is in the offing this afternoon.

Tickets for today’s game are still available for all supporters to purchase up until kick-off via;

Gates open at 1:30pm, with the 1894 Bar & Bistro and Arriva Suite open for refreshments.

We look forward to seeing you all at the MTA this afternoon!
