Marine entertain Market Drayton Town at the Marine Travel Arena this afternoon in the Pitching In Northern Premier League West (3pm).

Today’s game sees the Mariners looking to record their third successive win, having overcome Kendal Town and City of Liverpool in the past fortnight. Midfielder Alex Doyle made a welcome return from injury last Saturday, although James Devine, David Lynch and Danny Shaw are again doubtful for today’s encounter.

Market Drayton make their first-ever trip to the MTA and currently languish in bottom place in the NPL West. However, in this division nothing can be taken for granted, and those Marine supporters who made the trip to the Greenfields Sports Ground back in early November will attest to Town’s tenacity. On that occasion a late Lewis Reilly free-kick settled the game in the Mariners’ favour.

Tickets for today’s game are still available to purchase via the following link;

Gates 1 & 2 on College Road will open at 1:45pm as will gates 5 & 6 adjacent to the club entrance, and fans entering the stadium must provide their e-ticket or printed ticket which will be scanned on entry.

We look forward to seeing you all this afternoon!
