Marine entertain table-topping Marske United at the Marine Travel Arena this afternoon (3pm) in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division.

The Mariners occupy a mid-table berth after their last-gasp defeat at Stafford Rangers on Tuesday evening, whilst The Seasiders lead the league having claimed an impressive three wins and a draw from their opening four fixtures.

Neil Young hopes to welcome Lucas Weir and possibly Jonny Spittle back from injury this afternoon, however Jake Burton has been recalled by Tranmere Rovers, Charley Doyle is unlikely to return until Monday at the earliest, whilst Callum Harris and Josh Solomon-Davies will be missing for several weeks due to injuries suffered at Stafford. On the plus side, Mo Touray returned from injury in midweek and Jack Dunn is also in contention having been injured in the final game of pre-season.

Tickets for this afternoon’s game are still available for all supporters to purchase up until kick-off via;

Marine season tickets and membership cards must be presented for scanning at the turnstiles, whilst holders of NHS or Student season tickets should also present their ID badges.

Gates open at 1:30pm, with the 1894 Bar & Bistro open from midday and the Arriva Suite open at 1:30pm for refreshments.
