Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:

“Despite the horrendous number of long-term injuries suffered this season we have done well finishing in the top ten and reaching a cup final. To be in contention for a play-off place on the penultimate Saturday of the season would have exceeded expectations before the season kicked off.

For our final game this coming Saturday, I welcome our friends from Matlock Town who are in contention for a play off place. Earlier this month Matlock Town beat Marine away 3-2.”
