Winger departs Marine….
Marine AFC confirm that Neil Kengni has left the club.
Neil was offered a new contract in December and also before the end of the season, but is now a free agent and has decided to move to Macclesfield FC.
Under the Bosman rule the club have agreed a compensation package with Macclesfield FC.
Neil, 22, was Marine’s leading scorer last season and played a key role in the club’s play off success, including a hat trick in the semi final at Workington and the equaliser v Runcorn in the final.
He also had a clean sweep at the recent awards evening, collecting the Manager’s and Players’ Player of the Year award in addition to the Leading goalscorer trophy.
All at Marine thank Neil for his contribution and wish him every success in his future career.
