Our former player Colin Edwards, who was a stalwart of the Marine team in the club’s Cheshire League and early Northern Premier League days, was diagnosed seven years ago with Alzheimer’s disease.
Colin’s condition has worsened recently and at our game against 1874 Northwich on Saturday 12th March we will be holding a bucket collection to raise money to help his family care for him. We hope that everyone will support this worthy cause, and anyone who would like to assist with the collection at next Saturday’s game can contact the club by emailing richard@marinefc.com
