Marine officials are saddened to hear of the passing of full member and long time supporter Ron Latchford, aged 72.
The funeral service will take place at Thornton Crematorium on Monday 7th March at 2:15pm and friends and family will meet afterwards in the Arriva Suite at Marine Football Club.
Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:
“We have lost a dear friend and loyal supporter. Ron supported Marine for over 30 years and possibly more and over the years travelled the country watching his local football club. He was always cheerful and enjoyed his many visits to Marine.
I especially remember meeting Ron when he was collecting his ticket for the Tottenham game and was so happy at having a ticket for the biggest game in Marine’s history. Ron will be sadly missed by us all and we extend our condolences to Ron’s family and many friends.”
