Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:

“Marine will be looking for a revenge victory after conceding a last-gasp goal in the 2-1 defeat at Stafford Rangers in August, whilst Ashton United and Marine drew 1-1 at Hurst Cross in September. These then will be two tough games for Marine but there is opportunity hopefully to get back to winning ways after a run of five games without victory. Injuries and suspensions have been a contributory factor to recent results but I am sure we shall get back on track very soon.

Attendances at the MTA continue to be very good with an average of 1,403 for the two home games played so far in January against Warrington Rylands and Bamber Bridge. I therefore urge all fans to purchase their Stafford Rangers and Ashton United match tickets online via Kaizen Ticketing Solutions to avoid delays and congestion at the turnstiles and ticket office.

I look forward to welcoming the players, staff, officials, and supporters of Stafford Rangers and Ashton United to the Marine Travel Arena in what are important games as the competing clubs seek to improve further on their current league placings.”
