Marine entertain Leek Town at the Marine Travel Arena this afternoon (3pm) in the Pitching In Northern Premier League West.
Both clubs have already secured their place in the promotion play-offs, although both the Mariners and the Blues could finish in 3rd, 4th, or 5th place pending today’s result and that of the Runcorn Linnets v Colne game.
From a Marine perspective, any result other than a home win this afternoon will see Neil Young’s men finish 5th and face a Tuesday evening semi-final trip to either Warrington Rylands or Workington. A Marine win would see the Mariners overhaul Leek and finish 3rd or 4th depending on Runcorn’s result.

There will be no segregation in place this afternoon due to the numbers expected to attend. Leek fans will enter the MTA via gate 4, whilst Marine supporters will enter through gates 1, 2, 5 and 6.
Marine season tickets and membership cards must be presented for scanning at the turnstiles, whilst holders of NHS or Student season tickets should also present their ID badges.
The Arriva Suite will be open from 1:30pm and the 1894 bar will be open from midday for refreshments and snacks.
