Pitching In Northern Premier League Marine announces the arrangements for the Buildbase FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round game against NPL Premier Division South Shields, to be played on Saturday 30th October with a 3pm kick-off.

Admission to the South Shields game will be all pay and fans are requested to purchase tickets in advance via Kaizen Ticketing Solutions. Season tickets and membership cards are not valid for this game.

Fans entering the stadium must provide their e-ticket or printed ticket which will be scanned on entry at gates 1 and 2 on College Road or at gates 5 and 6 adjacent to the club entrance. All turnstiles will open at 1-45pm at which time the Arriva Suite and 1894 bar can be accessed for refreshments and snacks.

Marine meet South Shields following the dramatic penalty shoot-out victory at 1874 Northwich after grabbing a late equalizer with a goal from Josh Solomon-Davies. South Shields are currently second in the Northern Premier League Premier Division having only lost twice in 17 league fixtures and will be well supported for the game at the Marine Travel Arena.

The Mariners continue to be delighted with the increase in attendances with 1,311 watching the local derby game on Saturday against City of Liverpool FC, bringing the average to 1,092 for the nine games played so far in all competitions. The online ticket purchasing arrangements with Kaizen Ticketing Solutions and the introduction of the scanning technology at the turnstiles at the beginning of the season continues to be a huge success, providing numerous benefits for staff and fans.

Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:

“This will be a really tough game against a strong South Shields team who are doing very well this season as they bid for promotion to the National League North. However, we have had a good season too as we also aim for promotion to the NPL Premier Division, but this game will see the winners reach the First Round proper and with it the opportunity to progress further in what is the senior cup competition for non-league clubs.

Paul Leary added:

“I look forward to welcoming the players, staff, officials and supporters of South Shields to the Marine Travel Arena for this Buildbase FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round game, and I have no doubt that it will be another exciting game for both sets of fans.”
