The central defender left League Two side Tranmere Rovers in summer 2025 and has also previously represented the likes of Coventry City and Newport County.

Drysdale is a confident, ball-playing defender and prides himself on his leadership skills.

His signing adds a huge boost to Bobby Grant’s defensive line.

On why he chose Marine among several options around the country, Declan said: “The direction the club’s going in, I just think at the moment it’s the right fit for me. I’ve had a tough few years now, I just want to get back to enjoying football and playing games, rediscovering that love for it.”

In 2025/26 he made 33 appearances, scoring two goals.
